1:45am I woke up about fifteen minutes ago. I crashed out at the red brick church close to People's Park again. I only got about four hours of sleep. I just woke up to wake up and smoke some weed and go back to bed. I ate some cookies.
7:18am Ted walked by and noticed me, so I knew he was going to come over and assume a hit of weed. I had it ready for him when he got here. I only have a few hits left. I'm packed up now and ready to go. I had a nice relaxing morning at my squat at the church.
11:40am I just got out of Eid's Electronics. Mr. Eid recognized me. At first I walked in and he told me they didn't have any microcassette recorders. I saw one on the counter right there. He said it might not work though. We tested it and it did work and he let me have it for twenty bucks. His very last microcassette recorder. I also bought a card-reader for $17 for my camera so I can get the pictures off of it for my update. I spent all my money. I cannot wait until I make my next update. I have everything I need now. Oh yeah, this morning I had some awesome guestbook entries. I checked my email at ZeeZee Graphics for two bucks for ten minutes, what a jip. I had tons of hits on my website. It's still spreading like wildfire. It's raining. I'm getting sick of all this rain. I know that in all life a little rain must fall, but this is way past a little. I left Monterey to escape the rain, but it followed me. I am totally rainproof with my rain skirt I fashioned not too long ago. I wrap it around me before I put my bags on. Then my frontpack first and it and my big pack hold it in place perfectly while I walk. It doesn't even slip or anything. I should take a picture of myself, but everytime I remember I can't get to my camera pouch because it's underneath my skirt.
1:04pm I just had an awesome presentation. First presentation of the day, actually. This beautiful Erin girl. When she walked by I hit her up to listen and she said sure. I told her the Note From the Rich first. Afterwards she was all, "Wow, you actually memorized that?" I told her, "Sure, can I tell you my other stuff to?"
1:07pm Beautiful Anna gave me a cigarette on Telegraph.
2:05pm Russ gave me a cigarette. I appreciate it, brother. Nobody was giving me a cigarette.
4:22pm Brian was nice enough to give me some change for the cause. I appreciate it, Brian. Everybody gets credit in my game, thanks.
4:48pm Kevin gave me a cigarette on Telegraph. I appreciate it, brother.
6:59pm I never mentioned. I ran into this guy I had smoked smoked some weed with in San Antonio at Leanne's house(1-11-08 : 5:31pm). Leanne, friend of Jade. He even texted Leanne right now and took my picture and sent it to her on the phone. I am having a good day on the street today. A lot of people are listening to my story. This one guy Ben stopped and took all these pictures of me while I was telling my story to other people. Then this other guy came up to me and said, "I checked out your website. It's sweet." When it got dark I went over to the red brick church again. I saw another bum crashed out in a hallway. I was going to go wait in line at the shelter again, but I changed my mind. Some cool dude got me a Fat Slice of pizza. He also bought me a new pinch hitter. He had left the one I had since San Luis on the window ledge in front of Amoeba, so I can assume it's gone now. He gave me some money and I bought a new one for five bucks. It's not nearly as cool as the one I lost, which was glass, I think. The paint will chip off of it, but as least I have a pipe.
7:55pm I just had an awesome presentation with Greg right now and he volunteered me a dollar. Nobody is paying me to do this. Every little bit helps.
Dude I told my story to
10:42pm I just got a camping citation, oh well. The priest at the church called the police on me. It really amazes me how unlike Christ Christians are. I guess I'll go over by ZeeZee Graphics. I saw some bum crashed out there this morning.
On Telegraph I met this cute tall black girl who is a street kid. She's 6'2" and quite sexy. We hung out for a bit and then I followed her to Shattuck. She had to go to some shelter to get some of her stuff. We were walking to the youth shelter she stays at and spotted these two street kids crashed in front of this building. I walked Brianna to the shelter, but she never came back out, so I walked to where those street kids were crashed and they welcomed me to their squat. Shamus is one of their names.
