Thursday April 21, 2005

7:57am  I woke up, I don't know, around 7:30. I took a shower. I smoked some weed. My mom gave me three bucks for "bus fare." I'm going to walk all the way to the post office and mail this letter to myself again for the ZLB.

Did I mention that yesterday when I washed my Natural Balance hat it died? That pisses me off. That's my heat hat. What I wear when the sun is out and shining too bright. I've been wearing my rainbow beanie all day. I need a haircut too.

I already entered OP Schnabel. I'm already over by the pavilion

In the end all I know is that I don't know nuthin'. Anything is possible. I can't wait to find out.

                   But I will.

Don't forget to put my multivitamins in my cargo short pocket. I should always have those on me.

I am just now getting to the Walmart. I'm going to catch the bus to the post office.

I went to the smoking cabana at Walmart and bummed a cigarette off of Sandra. She was the only one there. She asked me, "Did you ever finish your book?" I told her, "My contribution is ready. I just need some blank CD's."

9:26am  I'm walking away from the Walmart now. I asked this guy in a sport-utility vehicle what time it was.

9:50am  70 degrees. Walking in front of Jefferson Bank on Bandera.

Did I tell you I decided I was going to walk all the way to the post office?

I walked past the Citgo on Bandera and Eckhert. I turn around and the word Tacos caught my eye. They have an add for fresh breakfast tacos. Lemme see if I can buy one for a dollar. If they're more than a dollar, I'm not going to get one.

Whoa, I just scored me a hard-drive at the computer shop. The guy Adolfo was finally there. He had a little 5gb hard drive available. He told me to give him like twenty bucks for it. I told him I didn't have any money, that I would get it from my mom. He told me to go ahead and take it. That if it didn't work, bring it back and if it did, pay him.

Oh yeah, Adolfo had asked me a question when I first got there. About Windows 98, I think.

I came back to the computer shop and it turned out I knew how to fix Adolfo's problem easy. But it turned out the laptops he was trying to install Windows 98 on didn't have enough memory.

11:05am  I am finally leaving the computer shop. I was hearing them talking at the computer shop and they're all ignorant. All they talk about is money. Oh yeah, and it was a simple problem Adolfo had. He was trying to figure out how to install Windows 98 on a laptop. He was stumped because he didn't have a floppy drive and thought a boot disk was the only way to install. I mean, the laptop already had an operating system on it that would boot up(Windows 95). I asked him, "Umm, why don't you just put the CD in and click on setup?" I can't believe he hadn't thought of that. I mean, he owns a computer repair shop called Corporate Technologies. He immediately said, "Come inside and help!" It turned out that the ancient IBM Thinkpad with a Pentium 1 and 8mb of ram, requires 16mb of ram to run Windows 98. But then he grabbed another identical Thinkpad that had 98 installed, but it only had 8mb of ram too. It was weird. Shitty laptops. He had bought like seven Thinkpads. I am downright positive he got ripped off for them. And who the hell is going to buy such an old computer for more than five bucks? Umm, I think maybe the problem was that the Windows 98 CD he had was intended for computers with no operating system installed. There is also a Windows 98 Upgrade version for computers with Windows 95. I don't know.

I cut through the trail and through Marshall High School.

Walked to Apple Green and North Hollow. Turning left on North Hollow.

I'm walking in front of Rhodes Elementary and Saddle Ridge Apartments.

I'm on Oakdell Way, just passed Danny Kaye.

I just walked my happy ass all the way to the post office. Followed through.

5lbs, 15 ounces my mission bag weighs.

Okay, I mailed the letter to myself again. I'm going to go buy something at the Wendy's across the street. I have a dollar and change.

I bought a burger at the Wendy's at Medical and Wurzbach. I'm walking to University Hospital to catch a bus.

I don't know what time it is, but I am at the hospital and Angela hooked me up with a cigarette. I appreciate it, Angela. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

12:53pm  Jumped on the 91 with a decoy-transfer and the driver hooked me up with another one for five cents.

                   I'm downtown.

I don't know what time it is. I'm in Travis Park and Joe hooked me up with a cigarette. I appreciate it, Joe.

I'm talking to Joe in the park. What was your email? malestripper2003@yahoo.com

3:34pm  I got bored at Travis Park and got on the 91.

Ms. Dixon hooked me up with a transfer. I appreciate it, Ms. Dixon. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

I don't know what time it is, but the 610 finally came at the hospital. I ran into Alex, my gutter-punk friend. She was hanging out with this gay dude who's name I don't remember. I asked her if she had any marijuana and we're going to go smoke! We're walking to that camp I crashed one time(3-7-05, 12:00am). We're going to go smoke some weed there. Wait, I have my fake cigarette. We can smoke right here.

We have a little party going on in the woods here. With these highschool kids I ran into on the bus. Miguel and my gutter-punk friend Alex, this girl I know. We came and smoked in the woods right here. I took a couple trips to the gas station to buy some Smirnoff Ice.

Oh yeah, the gay dude Miguel told me to go get him some Mad Dog. They didn't have any at the Shell at Babcock/Wurzbach. So I'm going to walk back and ask him what he wants instead.

Hehe, when I went back the cashier told me, "Oh, you're back for another round?" I told her, "We're having a party in the woods."

6:51pm  I just had a great presentation with this girl named Rebecca on the bus. I'm all sloshed from the Smirnoff. That girl told me, "I see you everywhere!"

7:14pm  I'm at the Citgo by my mom's house. Walking home.

It was cool how that little party fell in my lap.

7:21pm  I am home. At my mom's house. I have a hard drive to install. Cool.

7:42pm  I just hooked up that other hard drive I got from the computer shop. It turns out that it's another little 4gb hard drive. I'm really worried. I think I lost my awesome Nalgene bottle. That was my last reserve. I have to go buy a new one.

9:53pm  My mom said I could go buy me some tacos in her car.

Next day..
