     3:21am

10:56am  I only got about six and a half hours worth of sleep. I was going to walk downtown today. Maybe not.

     11:26am

11:32am  I am about to start walking downtown. I've got my camera with me so I'll be taking pictures. I'm going to walk down Bandera and so I can document that route. Alright, later on.

I'm going to take a shot of Riovida.

11:45am  I'm walking down Old Tezel. I just took a picture of the carwash and the Church's and the fence I'm going to spraypaint, hehe.

12:00pm  I didn't turn left on Guilbeau. I went straight on Old Tezel until it hit Guilbeau anyway on the other side of Tezel. It was the longer way to go but I'm walking. I feel great with that Riovida stuff. I'm going to walk down Guilbeau now. I'll take a picture from the top of the hill.

I'm passing that power line trail that I always take. I'll take a picture of that too.

12:08pm  I just took a picture walking down the Guilbeau hill.

     12:12pm  Crossing Wickersham.

12:22pm  I just got to Bandera. Turning right.

12:30pm  I'm walking down Bandera just after Mainland. I walked by Tios Restaurant

and decided I'd go and buy a lemonade there. I'll see how much they charge me. I've got ten bucks. I've been to this place before(2-3-04-10:20am).

12:34pm  Dude, I didn't even get charged! I asked her if I could get my bottle refilled with lemonade and she hooked it up. At first when I opened the door and walked in I heard her say no. I went, "No what?" She asked me what I needed and I told her I was there to buy some lemonade. I gave her my bottle and she went to fill it. While she was gone this one lady asked me what I was doing and I gave her my website. Hehe, the lady just gave me the lemonade and said, "Now be on your way now."

12:54pm  I walked down Bandera a little and at the bus stop before the Pizza Hut some punk kid asked me for a cigarette. Oi! I forgot what his name was. I should've taken his picture too. I'm walking now. I paused there and took a couple drags too. I gave him my website, for sure.

12:56pm  Coming up on Huebner. I'm going to turn left then right on Evers and walk to Planet K and buy a cap for my pipe again. I lost it.

1:01pm  Turning right on Traley. The light, Evers is a couple blocks away. I'm turning right here and I'll just zigzag to Evers.

     1:04pm  Left on Grass Valley.

1:06pm  Right on Strawflower. I'm going to take a leak in the bushes real quick.

1:08pm  I got to Larksong and Strawflower. There's a swimming pool here. I'm going to cut through this field behind the pool to Evers.

Wait, it's not Evers. It's Poss Road. I'm going to get back on Evers. No wonder I didn't recognize that pool.

I'm going to cut through Raymond Rimkus Park to get to Evers.

Tennis courts. There's people playing though. I'll ask them if they can spare any dead balls. Nah, I can always go to McFarlin.

     1:14pm  Back on Evers.

1:29pm  Coming up on Wurzbach. I took a picture.

1:33pm  I just took a picture of Planet K down there.

     1:35pm  I'm at the Planet K.

2:01pm  I'm leaving Niki's Cafe, the taqueria next door. I bought my cap at PK.

2:07pm  I just walked underneath Loop 410 at Evers.

2:10pm  Walking in front of Pat Neff Middle School. This is where my older sister Diana went.

2:19pm  I paused for a couple of minutes and switched out my tennis ball. It sucks. I'm going to wear this one out before I get back home. I need to find another one somewhere.

     2:23pm  Coming up on Bandera.

I took a picture at Bandera and Evers.

2:26pm  I just took a picture of the downtown skyline. It's beautiful. I have a good view of it. I don't know if the tower will come out in the picture. It's kind of far, hehe.

I just decided I'm going to walk to the tower today, Hemisfair Plaza and take pictures.

     2:33pm  Passing Broadview. Hello Ramiro.

2:38pm  Passing Hillcrest. I'm going to make the light. No, I'm going to wait.

2:40pm  Walking in front of Randy's ballroom. Bingo!

2:43pm  I took a picture down Bandera right past Quill. You can see the Bandera Road Flea Market sign.

2:52pm  I'm going to stop at the Taqueria Jalisco #6 and see if I can get something to eat. I've got some money. I'll see what they give me for just a dollar like I did last time. I only got a bean and cheese though.

3:13pm  For a dollar she gave me a bean and chips and surprised me with some chips and queso. I ate and took a smokebreak outside. I'm going to keep walking now.

3:27pm  I'm going to stop in the Pizza Hut on St. Cloud and take a piss.

The dumbass dude working inside told me, "Bathrooms are for customers only." I told him I would just take a piss behind the building.

I took a leak behind the Pizza Hut. Suckers.

3:31pm  Turning left on W Ashby.

     3:36pm  Mexican American Cultural Center.

Oh yeah, I smoked the last of my weed this morning on the front porch. Ever since I got this last twenty sack I've been collecting all my resin on the back porch. I had a little ball. So I loaded up my pipe and covered with plastic wrap and I went to Planet K and bought a cap for it. I'm still getting hits off that resin bowl.

3:42pm  Passing the Peacock Military Academy. I'm going to read the plaque here. "On this twenty-acre site, between the years of 1894 and 1973, lives of fifteen thousand students are shaped by a tradition of discipline, honor and personal pride. This marker is dedicated to these men, to the teachers who inspired them and the Peacock family who gave them the gift of heritage." It said some other stuff too but I couldn't understand the recording.

If I keep going straight Woodlawn Lake is coming up.

3:48pm  I just took a picture of that dinky pier. The pier that I caught my very first fish on when I was a little kid. I'm going to take a picture of the lighthouse in the middle of the lake.

I just took a picture of the skyline. First picture I zoomed in on and the second one was normal. I'm walking on the path that goes around the lake.

3:57pm  Just took a picture of the green Josephine Tobin sign.

3:58pm  I am on Cincinnati now.

4:02pm  I'm walking by that card reader place. 827 Cincannati. I'll put a link to that.

4:11pm  I just walked underneath Mcdermitt Freeway, I10.

4:16pm  Coming up on Fredericksburg. I'm going to keep going straight on Cincinnati.

 I just took a picture.

My receding hairline depresses me sometimes.

4:19pm  Hitting Blanco and turning right. I'm just going to end up on Fredericksburg again. I am aiming for McFarlin tennis courts.

4:20pm  Turning right on W Ashby. I'm going to stop and take a resin hit, hehe. I have to celebrate. I'm going to sit down in the shade right here next to some Rosie's Barbacoa place.

4:28pm  I had a good smokebreak and I'm up walking again. This guy and a girl walked by with a dog. His name is Pood. I got to pet him and give him some lovin'. I'm pretty close to the tennis courts, I think. There's that Jewish temple in the background.

4:32pm  Passing San Pedro Springs Park where I took a break last time(8-26-07-1:54pm).

4:34pm  I just took a picture of that practice wall. With the dome behind it. I really hope there's some tennis balls for me.

4:41pm  I scored five more tennis balls. Hell yeah. I don't know where I'm going to put them. I didn't bring any bags. I filled up my pockets.

4:43pm  Alright, I'm taking off walking downtown now. I'm going to go to the tower today, My pockets are are bulging. I took a picture of it.

4:46pm  Walking in front of San Antonio College.

4:55pm  That's my destination today. The tower.

     5:02pm  I just walked under I35.

     5:13pm  Travis Park.

5:18pm  I'm going to go say hi to my tattoo shop friend. Patrick, I think his name is.

Somebody else owns that place now. I saw all these Mexican dudes in there. I don't think Patrick is still there. On my way to Hemisfair.

5:22pm  I'm at Presa and Crockett and I just took a picture of the Tower Life Building.

I think that's what it's name is. The skyscraper with the gargoyles. I zoomed in for that picture, for sure. All the way. I wonder where Hemisfair is. I'm looking for the tower.

5:25pm  I asked this nice lady who worked for Centro, the people downtown who give directions and sweep up trash. She recognized me and I asked her if she had seen Elva, my old backup-mom. She told me that Elva is in jail in Mexico for bringing drugs over. Not marijuana, she said. I know, that's not a drug.

Curly Cue.

This cop on a mountain bike rode by and recognized me. He said, "Yo man, what's up?" They all know me, hehe. They leave me alone. I'm going to smoke some resin.

5:34pm  Oh yeah, there's a cop helping people cross the street right now on the way to the tower. I think he came out in the picture I took of the Alamodome.

I walked up and he read my WPTMJ shirt. He says, "You don't actually believe that, do you? I'm a narcotics officer." I told him, "Really? I could've sworn you were a crossing guard. Say no to drugs. All you need is weed." He tells me, "You know all the drug money goes to the Taliban?" I said, "Marijuana is not a drug. Says who? The government? They're killing the world. Oh yeah, you work for the government." Hehe, good little slave.

5:45pm  I just got a hair up my ass to go to the Institute of Texan Cultures. I'll take pictures. I think it's free to get inside too.

It's ten ninety-five to go up the tower.

I just took tons of pictures of the tower and the plaza.

These bible thumpers came up to me and asked me how I was doing. I told them I was the happiest man in the world and then started telling them why. They turned their ears off real quick and started barking their old rehearsed lines. They wouldn't listen to me. Just how nobody listened to Jesus back in his day!

6:41pm  I forgot to tell you. I'm on the bus going home. I caught the 88 and I'm going to go to the Walmart and take the nature hike home and that's my walking for the day. I figure I'll be ready to go after today. I'll be all walked up. I'm going to take off pretty soon. I'll walk tomorrow again. Not that much. I'm going to go take pictures of the woods. It'll be dark by the time I get there tonight. I remember one time I said that I was going to go through OP Schnabel and take tons of pictures of it. Alright.

7:49pm  Victor is back home. Tomorrow I'm going to go to the courthouse and get my shit dismissed(8-16-07-10:42am). I have to walk to Walgreen's and get some pictures printed out. All the pictures I took of that mountain of shingles.

8:35pm  Dude! I just had me an eight-person presentation right here in my mom's living room! These two girls came door-to-door trying to sell me home security. I told them, "My mom's not home right now, but can I tell you guys a story?" They were all down for it and I invited them inside. One girl asked me if I had any water or something and I offered them some grape juice. They told me their manager might call so we might have to cut it short. I told them, "Alright, let's see how far I can get." When they sat down and started listening to my story their manager called. One of the girls asked me, "Would you want to tell your story to a lot of people?" I beamed and said, "Give me an audience, please." She invited the whole door-to-door crew! They came over and all eight of them sat down on the couches. My mom called in the middle and I told her, "Mom, I'm having a meeting right now. In your living room." She got mad. Anyway, I had such a grandiose presentation. No interruptions or nothing. Well, except by my mom. Eight 18-21 year old kids sitting there listening to me. I was standing there underneath the light wearing a rainbow tiedye. I took their picture and everything. Shwweeeeet!! I'm getting ready to leave. I gave each of them my website.

11:00pm  I'm going to bed. I'm pooped. I had a good walk today. About twenty miles. I walked a lot downtown too. Tomorrow my project will be going to OP Scnhabel and taking pictures. Then I'm going to come back home and type up yesterday and add all the pictures to it. I'm leaving Saturday. I'm going to leave on the fifteenth which would have my stay in San Antonio at exactly three months. June 15 to September 15. Friday night I have to figure out some way to spraypaint the fence.

Next day..
