12:37pm I ran into Brian Moreno here at the Citgo(11-23-02, 5-30-03, 6-14-03, 1-28-04). He offered me a dollar after I told him my story.
12:39pm Rick hooked me up with two cigarettes. I appreciate it, brother.
Oh yeah, this morning my mom had bought me some cereal again. Haha. I had told her, "Oh mom, thanks for the cereal." She goes, "Your welcome, just don't throw it in my face when we get in an argument. I do it because I like to." I told her, "I know, mom. That's why I remind you every time. That you do it because you like to. Because you're my mother."
1:30pm Jumped on the 91 at the hospital. Mr. Vega hooked me up with a ride. He passed the test.
1:45pm I got off on Hillcrest. I'm going to walk to that tamale restaurant where I got a box last time(4-10-04, 8:57am).
2:06pm I'm back here holding my On My Way to Save the World sign.
Whoa, this guy gave me two dollars right off the bat.
I just got five dollars off this carload of kids.
7WK63 gave me a dollar. This girl asked me, "What are you saving the world from?" I told her, "Ourselves."
157-Y2Y gave me dollars. She told me, "Save the world."
N59-LCL. Jerry hooked me up with a cigarette. I appreciate it, Jerry.
P52-NRG. Somebody just hooked me up with a dollar. She asked me, "How are you going to save the world?" I told her, "With the Internet," and gave her my email address.
3:13pm This SAPD cop just pulled up and told me, "No panhandling here. Take it somewhere else." I yelled back, "I'm not asking for anything," and showed him my sign. He said, "Alright."
SAPD can't tell me shit. This ain't your jurisdiction. This is Balcones Heights . . . and I know 'dis.
3:18pm This guy in a black pickup asked me, "What's up man. You remember me, don't you?" I asked him, "Where did I meet you at?" He told me, "You were up at my mom's house in Bracken a while ago." I asked him, "Lupe?" He said yeah. I'm all known.
3:40pm I stopped spanging. I'm going to get some weed at Travis Park. I need to get me another camera too.
3:50pm I made a good ten or eleven bucks spanging. I wasn't asking for anything. I was just standing there. I got seen so good. Anyway, I jumped on the 92 and borrowed some guy's cellphone. I called Rachel's number. The guy who answered said, "Oh, she's not home. What is this concerning?" I told him, "I just met her in the park in San Antonio. My name is Victor Gruber." He told me, "Spell your last name. Is there a number she can call you back at? She's not here." I told him, "She's got my number."
4:32pm Baez, this brother is going to hook me up with a cigarette. I appreciate it, brother. That's very generous of you. It'll come back.
7:40pm I got off at Eagle's Nest.
7:41pm It was on pause again so I missed a good chunk of my day. I finally got hooked up with a courtesy ride. I showed him my sign. I got off in front of Eagle's Nest Apartments. I'm going to go smoke Joe out. I got some weed.
9:20pm I'm leaving Joe's. I don't know what I'm going to do. I want a cigarette.
9:37pm Duane is hooking me up with a cigarette in front of The Black Eyed Pea. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit in my game.
9:40pm I walked all the way to Medical. If the bus doesn't come I'm going to walk to University Hospital. I'm going to smoke a cigarette and smoke some weed.
9:57pm This greedy ass 91 driver didn't give me a ride to West. When he pulled up I told him, "It's either a seven mile walk home from West, or a ten mile walk home from here. You're going to make me walk an extra three miles?" That's alright though. I'll walk to Planet K and then I'll walk all the way home from there.
10:18pm I had missed the last 534 when I got to the transfer center. I talked to my good friend David. He asked me, "Are you keeping warm?" I told him, "Yup, I came prepared." I'm going to walk to Planet K now.
12:07pm I guess I walked to the Planet K on purpose. I got a good blessing. I got a ride home. My feet hurt. From umm, I'm sorry, I'm really bad with names. I talk to so many people. What were your names again? Stephanie and Meg.
12:21pm I'm at my mom's house. She's not here. My little brother let me in. It's really cool I got hooked up with a ride. My feet were hella-tired.
I'm going to go eat me a bowl of cereal.
