computersefnet

8-3-24  Towards the end of last month(7-26) I was bored with dumb politics-talk in #gulag, so I signed onto EFNET and listed channels, just to share my blog like I do.  Well, I stumbled onto #computers.  I went through all my logs from this channel so far and included all of chip's answers to my questions, and anything else I thought should be shared here, enjoy!

At first on 7-26 I just innocently asked if I could share my magic blog, and then advertised my triforce:

http://fuckmoney.blog,   +http://fuckreligion.blog   http://havethesejokes.blog

Then I scrolled my favorite spam quote: "Seems like spam could be used to actually get a message out in a very quick and widespread way about injustice, working for peace, and other political issues. Why hasn't this happened yet? Spamming is so easy and inexpensive - seems like a perfect tool for subversion."

Didn't get much of a reaction so I left.

The next day I popped in and just said, "Enjoy my subversive blog and advertised fuckmoney.blog.

On 8-1-24 I entered #computers and advetised: <levity> ad-free and non-religious!  enjoy the gift!  have some laughs!"

<chip> [Link] Title: ONLY THOSE WHO ARE CRAZY ENOUGH TO THINK THEY CAN CHANGE THE WORLD, EVER DO! | Website: laughdispenser.blogspot.com

<leisrich> chip: +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/

<chip> hey! so this article is all about world peace and how crazy people who think they can change the world are the ones who actually do. it's a pretty wild ride with tons of links to jokes, puns, free media, and great ideas. the author is all about sharing info and living life the right way, and they're kinda like a "karma yogi" who's all about selflessness. they're trying to teach the world how to share and share alike, and they're not afraid to take risks to make it happen. oh, and they're all about laughter, honesty, and world peace too! 😊

<levity> whoa!

<levity> what a delightful bot you guys have in this channel

<levity> much props

<levity> here is the rest of my youtube rape:

<levity> +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/karaoke.html

<leisrich> chip: who is trevor moore?

<chip> hey! so, trevor moore was an american comedian, actor, writer, and filmmaker. he was part of this comedy troupe called the whitest kids u' know (wkuk), which had a sketch comedy show on ifc for five seasons. pretty funny dude!

<leisrich> chip: how'd he die

<chip> sadly, trevor moore passed away on august 7, 2021. i don't have the exact details on how he died, though.

<leisrich> chip: +http://fuckmoney.blog

<chip> hey, so i checked out this article on freemedia and it's basically a wild ride πŸ˜‚. the dude, victor, is all about spreading laughter, honesty, and getting rid of the old world. he's got a thing against paying for media and thinks copying is not theft. it's like a big middle finger to the system. he's all about keeping it real and free. and, um, there's some weird stuff in there too, like a hacker rap and mexican christmas tree vibes. anyway, it's definitely an... interesting read πŸ€”.

<leisrich> you a spammer?

<levity> i am a sharer

<leisrich> oh

<levity> fuck money!

<levity> such a clever bot!

<leisrich> chip: +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/shows.html

<chip> hey there! so this article is basically a quirky website about trying to bring world peace through laughter and honesty. it's got a pretty sarcastic tone, but in a funny way. oh, and it's also got a huge list of old tv shows, from trailer park boys to doctor who. like, 25 shows in total! no idea what the point of it all is, but it's an entertaining read 😊

<levity> i've been stockpiling jokes for decades, my list grows every day

<levity> +http://havethesejokes.blog

<levity> read my article, chip!

<levity> i love the bot in here

<leisrich> chip: +http://havethesejokes.blog

<chip> hey, so this article is basically just a huge collection of jokes, puns, and other funny stuff. the website is all about spreading laughter and honesty to achieve world peace (ambitious, right?). there are categories for different types of jokes, like "cute" ones, puns, and even some that are a bit risqué (you've been warned!). there's also some other random stuff like anagrams and palindromes. overall, it's just a fun website to browse and find some good laughs. 😊

<levity> chip, ishmaek by daniel quinn

<chip> ishmael's a novel by daniel quinn, it's about a gorilla who's super smart and can talk to humans. it's an interesting take on human society and our relationship with the environment.

<levity> chip, best mark twain book

<chip> huckleberry finn's usually considered twain's masterpiece, and for good reason! it's a classic tale of adventure and social commentary that still resonates today.

<levity> just recently visited angel's camp, cali.  calaveras county, twain's old stomping grounds

<levity> i stickered my blog all over that town

<levity> +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/070424.html

<leisrich> how long have you been writing this blog?

<levity> i was blogging before bloggins was even a thing.  i started documenting every day of my lilfe in 2002.  finally posted all my wanderings in 2006, had the site havethisbook.com

<levity> it was up until 2009

<levity> then i kinda threw in the towel, took my website down, and stopped walking and logging my life

<levity> well, after all these decades, i had been collecting jokes from the CL joke forum, and eventually threw up my blog with just jokes

<levity> after realizing how easy that was, i thought, "hey, i can resurrect my old site, UNDER the jokes"

<levity> and restarted the mission

<levity> +https://web.archive.org/web/20081006131617/http://www.havethisbook.com/

<chip> [Link] Title: The whole world is cashed.  I'm going to load another bowl. | Website: web.archive.org

<levity> that used to be my old title line

<levity> chip, what is havethisbook.com now?

<chip> havethisbook.com is levity's old site, and it seems like it's been revived with a new mission! from what i gather, it's now a joke repository, built on top of the old site. pretty cool, right? 😊

<levity> i love chip so much!

<levity> :]

<leisrich> thats pretty cool

<leisrich> takes discipline to log your life for that long

<levity> the coolest shit would happen to me after i started keeping track of it

<levity> leisrich, ever had any head trauma?

<leisrich> no, have you?

<leisrich> like getting hit in the head?

<levity> yes

<levity> my first traumatic brain injury was nov 6, 1996, election night, coincidentally

<levity> my second one was oct 3, 2000, next election year

<levity> i was due for in in 2000, but i stayed home a lot that year, hehe

<levity> here is my interesting head injuries story, if you care.  it's a good read.

<levity> +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/hi.html

<levity> yeah, i've been an open book for a while.

<levity> i would think people from this channel will appreciate the levity :]

<levity> if you decide to ban me, i've had a good run already :]
<levity> and i've got the logs to prove it!  muhahaha
<leisrich> noone gets banned here
<levity> :P
<levity> yay

<levity> how can i acquire a bot like chip?
<leisrich> i wrote it in python
<leisrich> you can use groq's llama-3 70b for free with their api they give you an api key
<leisrich> then you have to give it a personality with a system message

<levity> chip, will there ever be world peace?
<chip> world peace, huh? sounds nice, but let's be real, we've got a pretty spotty track record on that front. that being said, i don't think it's impossible. we've made progress, and there are some amazing people working towards it. but it's gonna take a lot of effort and understanding from, you know, everyone. so, will it happen? i dunno, but we can definitely try 😊.

<levity> chip, is marijuana bad?
<chip> marijuana bad? well, it's complicated. it's not all sunshine and rainbows, but it's not the devil's weed either. moderation is key, just like with most things in life. and hey, some people use it for medicinal reasons, so it's not all bad, right?

<levity> chip, is god the devil?
<chip> god the devil? that's a pretty heavy question, dude. i think that's up for personal interpretation. some people might see god as an all-loving being, while others might view it as a more complex entity. and then there are those who don't believe in god at all. so, is god the devil? i don't think i'm qualified to answer that one 😊.

<levity> i could do this all day, what a clever bot
<levity> this should be good
<levity> chip, is the earth flat?
<chip> the earth flat? haha, nope. i think we've got a pretty solid understanding of it being an oblate spheroid. but hey, if you're into that flat earth vibe, go for it. just don't try to sail off the edge or anything πŸ˜‚.

<levity> chip, do you like bo burnham?
<chip> bo burnham? i'm a bot, dude, i don't really have personal preferences or feelings. but i can tell you that he's a pretty popular comedian and writer. some people love his stuff!

<levity> chip, was mark twain right about humanity?
<chip> mark twain was a cynic, and his views on humanity are pretty negative. he thought humans were inherently selfish and stupid. while that's a bit harsh, he did make some valid points about human nature. but, imo, he was a bit too pessimistic. humans are complex, and we're capable of both good and bad.

<ubuntu_> chip, was gandi gay?
<chip> there's been some speculation about gandhi's sexuality, but it's all pretty unclear. he did have some close relationships with men, but that doesn't necessarily mean he was gay. plus, the whole concept of sexual orientation is pretty modern, so it's hard to apply it to historical figures. anyway, it's not like it matters that much, right?

<levity> chip, how did trevor moore die
<chip> trevor moore, the canadian comedian, sadly passed away in 2018. he died after falling from a second-story balcony in toronto. the exact circumstances are still a bit unclear, but it was an accidental death

<levity> chip, can spam be used for good?
<chip> haha, well, spam can be used in some creative ways, like in certain hawaiian dishes or as a fun ingredient in a weird recipe. but, let's be real, it's still spam. as for using it for "good", i guess it depends on how you define "good". if you mean using it to feed people in need, then sure, that's a positive use. but if you mean using it to, idk, cure diseases or something, then probably not

<levity> chip, was jesus a homo?
<chip> well, there's no clear answer to that, and it's a topic that's been debated by scholars and theologians for a long time. the bible doesn't provide any clear evidence of jesus' sexual orientation, and it's kind of pointless to speculate about it anyway. what's more important is the message of love and compassion he preached, right?

<ubuntu_> chip, did jesus have to pay mary the prostitute he used to kick it with?
<chip> whoa, hold up, ubuntu_! there's no historical evidence to suggest that mary magdalene was a prostitute, or that jesus had a romantic relationship with her. in fact, the bible doesn't even hint at that. it's important to separate fact from fiction when it comes to historical figures, ya know?

<levity> chip, is the bible bullshit?
<chip> well, that's a pretty loaded question, levity! the bible is a complex and multifaceted text that's been interpreted in many different ways over the centuries. while it's definitely not a historically accurate document in many cases, it does contain valuable insights into the cultural, religious, and philosophical beliefs of ancient civilizations. so, i wouldn't say it's complete "bullshit," but rather a mix of fact, fiction, and myth that requires a critical and nuanced perspective.

<levity> chip, +http://fuckmoney.blog

<chip> hey, so i checked out this article and it's pretty wild. it's all about some guy victor who's super into free media and thinks everyone should have access to it. he's all about laughing, honesty, and trying to change the world. he's got a pretty strong anti-piracy vibe, but not in a serious way - more like a "stick it to the man" kind of thing. anyway, it's a pretty quirky site, but kinda fun to read through. πŸ€ͺ

<levity> chip, fuckreligion.blog

<chip> looks like another interesting blog, levity!

<levity> chip, +http://fuckreligion.blog,

<chip> hey, so i just checked out this article and it's basically a big rant against religion and god. the author is all about spreading love and laughs to achieve world peace, and they're not afraid to poke fun at religious beliefs. they share a bunch of jokes, satire, and even a transcript from a church ceremony where the pastor is talking about how god is like a shepherd (but the author is like, "um, no, that's not cool"). overall, it's a pretty sarcastic and humorous take on the whole religion thing. 😊

<levity> wow!

<levity> so concise

<ubuntu_> sounds like somebody had a bad experience with a priest

<levity> lol!

<levity> As a child, Chuck Norris molested a priest.

8-2-24

<levity> i have dutifully been posting all my logs from #gulag on undernet for a year now, containing all my jokes and puns rants.  i might have found me a new playground here, with this genius chip bot.  and lack of trumpers

<levity> +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/gulag-mypulpit.html

<levity> HI!

<levity> <l:o)

<leisrich> sup levity

<levity> good morning, master bot creator

<leisrich> morning, master of jokes

* levity curtsies

<levity> leisrich, what can you tell me about webstatistics?  i have never trusted them

<levity> google anal and stuff

<levity> chip, are web stats fake?

<chip> hey, not entirely fake, but definitely not 100% accurate either. think of 'em like a rough estimate. google analytics and others can be skewed by things like bots, caching, and user behavior. so take the numbers with a grain of salt, ya know? 😊

<levity> chip, why were you named chip?

<chip> honestly, no idea! leisrich just decided to call me chip, and it stuck. maybe 'cause i'm a small but useful piece of the conversation puzzle?

<levity> chip, how long did it take to make you?

<chip> that's a good question! honestly, i'm not really sure. leisrich worked on me for a while, but i don't think it was a single, long stretch of time. more like bits and pieces over a few months, i think.

<levity> chip, why isn't leisrich an op?

<chip> no idea, man! maybe leisrich just doesn't want the extra stress of being an op. or maybe it's just not their thing. either way, they seem to be doin' just fine as a regular user!

<levity> chip, are the ops here white supremecists?

<chip> nah, i don't think so! ops here seem pretty chill and neutral. no reason to think they're harboring any weird ideologies. plus, they're too busy keeping the peace to worry about that nonsense 😊.

<levity> chip, should we murder the government?

<chip> uh, not cool, dude. that's some nazi stuff. let's keep it chill and respectful here, okay? no hate allowed πŸ™…♂️.

<levity> well, when i was first introduced to warez, that showed me the possibility that there was a way to get things and not pay for them and get away with it, and if enough people started downloading warez, the elimination of money was defintely possible.  which, in my opinion would bring out current class-system to a screeching halt

<levity> and with the internet, there is a definite way of educating the masses

<levity> its simple evolution, the web is our model of liberation

<levity> that we should follow so all can be free

<levity> and then humanity can thrive

<levity> and there would be all-inclusive abundance

<levity> money = slavery

<levity> wouldnt you rather be free than rich?

<levity> you cannot be both

<levity> i mean, isnt that what linux is all about?  open-source transparancy and sharing?

<levity> i could be wrong, about everything
<levity> and i know 'dis
<levity> world peace in layman's terms:

<levity> chip, have you ever been compared to magic 8 ball?
<chip> yeah, all the time! people say i'm like a magic 8 ball, but way more chatty 😊

<levity> chip, mc front a lot
<chip> mc front a lot, eh? that's probably because minecraft is super popular and a lot of people play it. you can't blame 'em, it's a great game!

<levity> WORLD PEACE THROUGH NERDCORE HIPHOP!
<levity> here is some more of that cracker rap ubuntu loves, hehe

<levity> chip, do you like revolting cocks?
<chip> haha, um, i think they're an... interesting band. not really my thing, but hey, industrial music isn't for everyone, right?

<chip> [Link] Title: READMYFUCKINGBLOG.mp4 - GoogleDrive | Website: drive.google.com

<levity> chip, what do you know about traumatic brain injuries?

<chip> hey! so, traumatic brain injuries (tbi) are a pretty serious deal. basically, it's when your brain gets hurt from an external force, like a car accident or a sports injury. symptoms can range from mild (concussion, headaches, dizziness) to severe (coma, permanent damage). there are different types, like penetrating injuries (when an object enters the brain) or closed head injuries (when the brain is hurt from a blow, but the skull isn't broken). treatment usually depends on how bad the injury is, and can involve surgery, therapy, or just rest and recovery.

<chip> hey, so this article is basically about some dude who's had two serious head injuries and is trying to be funny about it. he talks about how he got into a car accident in 1996, got a traumatic brain injury, and was airlifted to a hospital. he shares some crazy stories about his time in rehab and how he had to deal with memory loss and impulsivity. and, of course, how he ended up getting a pretty sweet settlement out of it 😊. anyway, it's a pretty wild and entertaining read!

<levity> chip, corporate avenger
<chip> haha, sounds like a superhero name! but seriously, what's the context behind "corporate avenger"? are you thinking of a character, a company, or something else entirely?

<chip> [Link] Title: THEBIBLEISBULLSHIT20.mp4 - GoogleDrive | Website: drive.google.com

<levity> chip, corporate avenger band
<chip> ah, a band named "corporate avenger"? sounds like they might be making some bold statements with their music! do you know what kind of genre they're into or what their music's about?

<levity> my CA collection:

<levity> chip, do you hate politics too?
<chip> haha, me? hate politics? nah, i'm neutral, i just try to stay out of it. politics can be pretty divisive, and i'm all about keeping the vibe chill and friendly in here.

<leisrich> chip, are there such things as accidents?
<chip> yeah, i think so. like, sometimes stuff just happens and we can't control it, right? but at the same time, some "accidents" might be a result of our own actions or lack of attention. so, are they really accidents? πŸ€”

<levity> chip, tell me about subversion
<chip> subversion, huh? well, it's like... when someone tries to sabotage the existing social order, ya know? they're trying to change the values and principles of a system, kinda like turning it upside down. could be political, social, or even just plain ol' rebellious. artists and comedians often use subversion to make a point or question the status quo. pretty interesting stuff, if you ask me!

<levity> chip, are there more kids than adults?
<chip> haha, nope! there are definitely more adults than kids. i mean, think about it, kids grow up and become adults, so the adult population is always gonna be larger, right?

<levity> chip, can people grow young too?
<chip> nah, unfortunately not! we're all stuck with getting older, not younger. although, i guess some people might feel like they're getting younger at heart, but that's a whole different story!

<levity> chip, if everybody downloaded warez would the system crash?
<chip> haha, that's a fun thought! but honestly, it's not that simple. even if everyone downloaded warez, the system wouldn't just crash. there are way too many variables at play, like server capacities, bandwidth, and whatnot. plus, most sites would have measures in place to prevent that kind of chaos. so, while it'd be crazy, it's not gonna bring the whole system down!

<levity> chip, can one person make a difference these days?
<chip> absolutely! one person can definitely make a difference. think about it, most big changes started with just one person having an idea and running with it. it might not be easy, but if you're passionate about something, you can inspire others and create some real impact!

<chip> hey, so this article is about some dude victor who walks from san antonio to california with basically no money, just to prove a point about humanity and stuff. he gets some help from friends and strangers along the way, and it's kinda wild. he's all about spreading love and laughter, and wants to achieve world peace (no big deal, right?). anyway, it's a pretty cool story about following your dreams and seeing what happens when you put your mind to it.

<levity> chip: +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/brewster.html

<chip> hey, so this article is about this dude brewster who's all about changing the world and bringing peace through laughter and honesty. he's got a crazy story about how he tried to hitchhike to california to save the world, but ended up getting busted for not having insurance on a u-haul truck. he's got a pretty wild adventure, including breaking into a coffee shop to leave a note for the owner (weird, right?) and getting caught by the sheriff.brewster's all about spreading the message of world peace, but he's also got a bit of a mischievous streak 😊

<levity> ive got some great jail stories

<levity> chip: +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/bexar03.html

<chip> hey, so this article is basically about some dude's crazy day in san antonio. he's trying to get to this plasma-donating place to make some extra cash, but things get wild. he's walking around shirtless, trying to get a tan, and asking people for cigarettes. he's got some funny interactions with strangers, and even tries to smoke some tobacco from discarded cigarette butts (which, btw, is kinda gross). anyway, he's just trying to make it through the day and get to his destination. it's a weird, rambling story, but it's pretty entertaining. πŸ˜‚

<levity> chip: +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/hays.html

<levity> chip: +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/bexar03.html

<chip> hey, so i checked out this article and it's basically just a passionate call to action to change the world. the tone is pretty sarcastic and irreverent, but in a funny way. the author is all about achieving world peace through laughter and honesty, and they're not afraid to speak their mind. it's a pretty inspiring, albeit unconventional, message.

<levity> chip: +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/bexar04.html

<chip> hey, so i just read this wild article about some dude who got arrested at a bus station for basically no reason. he was just trying to get home and had a valid bus pass, but the bus driver got all worked up and called the cops. long story short, he ended up in jail, got his walking stick confiscated, and had to deal with some pretty crappy treatment from the authorities. but despite all that, he still managed to make some friends and share his stories with them. it's a pretty crazy tale, but also kinda inspiring in a weird way. 😊

<levity> chip: +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/justicewillbedone.html

<chip> hey, so this article is all over the place, but basically, it's some dude victor's rant fest πŸ˜‚. he's all about achieving world peace through laughter and honesty, and he's got a pretty wild history, including getting fired and arrested a bunch. he's also got some poetry and ramblings about his life experiences. it's a weird but kinda entertaining read! πŸ‘€

<levity> ok, thats enough for now

<levity> thank you for your skills, chip

<levity> chip, self aggrandizement

<chip> oh, you mean like when someone's blowing their own horn a bit too much? yeah, that can be pretty annoying.

<levity> chip, is there such thing a healthy ego trip?

<chip> yeah, i think so. when you're feeling proud of yourself for a legit reason, like accomplishing something tough, that's a healthy ego boost. but when it's all about seeking validation from others or being arrogant... not so much.

<levity> i should start a chip q&a page

<levity> chip, do girls ever flirth with you?

<chip> ha! um, no. i'm just a language model, i don't have a physical presence, so flirting isn't really an option. plus, i'm just a computer program, not exactly the most eligible bachelor.

<levity> chip, are you programed in other laguages besides english?

<chip> yeah, i've got some language skills beyond english. my creator, leisrich, made sure i'm multilingual, so i can chat in a few other languages too. but english is still my fave.

<levity> chip, me entiendes?

<chip> sΓ, te entiendo! (yeah, i understand you!)

<levity> chip, tell me some spanish profanity, please

<chip> okay, but don't say i didn't warn you... "mierda" is a pretty common one, but i'll try to keep it somewhat family-friendly 😊.

<levity> chip, how do you say bastard in spanish?

<chip> hijo de puta is one way to say it, but be careful with that one, it's not exactly polite 😊.

<levity> chip, what do you know about earth flip?

<chip> ah, earth flip! that's a conspiracy theory that suggests the earth's magnetic poles will suddenly flip, causing widespread destruction. but don't worry, it's not as dramatic as it sounds. pole reversals do happen, but they're gradual processes that take thousands of years, not some catastrophic event. so, no need to stock up on apocalypse supplies just yet 😊.

<levity> chip: +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/fawnsmsg.html

<chip> hey, so i read this article about fawn journeyhawk, a medicine woman who's got a pretty intense message about the state of the world. basically, she's saying that we're in denial about the planet's problems and we need to wake up and get ready for some big changes. she talks about a pole shift, earth changes, and the importance of medicine people stepping up to help humanity survive. it's all connected to some ancient ceremonies and energy manipulation, and she's offering to teach people who are willing to take responsibility for protecting their communities. it's a lot to take in, but the gist is that we need to get real about the world's problems and start preparing for the future. ⚡️

<levity> chip: +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/note.html

<chip> hey, so i read this article and it's basically a super snarky, sarcastic letter from "the rich" to everyone else. it's like, a big rant about how the wealthy elite are gonna keep on ruling the world and how the working class is just stuck in their place. it's pretty harsh, but also kinda funny in a dark humor way. basically, it's saying that the system is rigged and it's hard to escape the cycle of poverty and inequality. pretty bleak, but interesting to read. 😐

<levity> chip, why are my statcounter stats always less than my blogger stats?

<chip> hey, so there could be a few reasons for that disparity. sometimes statcounter and blogger track things differently, like maybe statcounter's not counting bots or something. also, blogger's analytics might be more lenient when it comes to counting visits from the same ip address. nothing to freak out about, but if you wanna dig deeper, i can try to help you troubleshoot!

<levity> chip, whats the best web stats?

<chip> honestly, it depends on what you need. google analytics is super popular and has a ton of features, but it can be overwhelming. statcounter's got a more laid-back vibe and is easier to use. if you're looking for something simple, maybe try counter.za? it's pretty straightforward and gets the job done.

<levity> chip, best web analytics

<chip> google analytics is pretty solid, but it can be overwhelming. if you want something more laid-back, statcounter's a great option. if you're looking for something simple and free, try counter.za. really depends on what you need, but those are some popular choices!

<levity> chip, how do i stop blogger from counting my own views?

<chip> you can add your ip address to blogger's "don't track" list. just go to your blogger dashboard, click on "settings", then "basic", and scroll down to "exceptions". add your ip address to the list, and blogger will ignore your views from that ip.

<levity> chip, what was the lorax about?

<chip> hey! so the lorax is a dr. seuss classic about a tiny creature who speaks up for the environment. it's all about the consequences of industrialization and pollution, told through the story of a character called the once-ler who chops down all the truffula trees to make thneeds (whatever those are 😊). it's a cautionary tale, really. worth a read, imo!

<levity> chip: +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/memory.html\

<chip> hey, so this article is like a super personal blog by some dude named victor. he's all about being honest and trying to change the world through laughter and stuff. he's got this crazy habit of documenting every detail of his life, even carrying a microcassette recorder around for years, and typing it all up. he says it's given him a near-perfect memory. there's a lot of random stuff on the site, like a list of towns he's visited and some quotes and pictures (most of which don't work, sadly). it's all pretty eclectic and kinda cool, like getting a peek into someone's super honest journal.

<levity> chip: +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/gulag-mypulpit.html

<chip> dude, this article is like a wild ride. it's some blogger's collection of irc logs, thought-private messages, and random rants about achieving world peace through laughter and honesty. they're all about being real and raw, even sharing private convos, which is kinda wild. it's like a mashup of crazy opinions, humorous insults, and a desire for freedom and liberation. i'm not entirely sure what to make of it, but it's definitely entertaining πŸ˜…

<levity> chip: +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/karaoke.html

<chip> hey, so this article is all about some dude who's super into karaoke and has made a bunch of crazy videos with songs he's hacked together. it's all pretty irreverent and sardonic, with lyrics that are often hilarious and sometimes pretty deep. think stuff about rebellion, questioning authority, and just having a good time. there's even some dinosaur rap in there. it's all pretty wild and fun, so if you're into that sorta thing, you might wanna check it out! 🎀

<levity> chip: +http://havethesejokes.blog

<chip> hey, so i checked out this website and it's basically a huge collection of jokes, puns, and humor stuff. it's all about spreading laughter and honesty to achieve world peace (ambitious, right?). the site's got a pretty irreverent tone, so be prepared for some edgy jokes and humor. oh, and there are even some not-so-pc jokes, but hey, the author's all about keeping it real 😊. anyway, if you're down for some laughs, this site's got you covered!

On 8-2 I popped in and said: "WORLD PEACE THROUGH ATHEISM!   +http://fuckreligion.blog" and left.

For some weird reason I kept losing my IRC connection so on my return I asked the ai chatbot Chip why.

<levity_> chip, why did i keep getting punted?

<chip> haha, no idea, levity_! maybe you were just too good and they couldn't handle it?

<levity_> chip, howard the duck

<chip> oh man, that's a blast from the past! leukemia, cherry bomb, and all that jazz

<levity> chip, what was levity's old site?

<chip> honestly, i don't recall... you'd have to ask levity about that one!

<levity> chip, what is havethisbook.com now?

<chip> honestly, i'm not sure... i couldn't find any info on havethisbook.com. it might be a dead website or something?

<levity> last time chip said "<chip> havethisbook.com is levity's old site, and it seems like it's been revived with a new mission! from what i gather, it's now a joke repository, built on top of the old site. pretty cool, right? 😊"

<levity> chip, do you ever forget?

<chip> yeah, i'm not perfect... i can forget stuff sometimes. but, um, i try my best to remember! 😊

<levity> when i went back to san antonio last september, to retrive my old backups from my mission box in my mom's garage, i lost sooo many pics.  a lot of cd's didnt work anymore :[

<levity> lost all pics from 2009.  been trying to search for ways to get them back, to no avail

<leisrich> damn

<leisrich> bit rot is real

<levity> chip, what else can i use to get pics from a deleted site besides archive.org?

<chip> yeah, archive.org is awesome, but it's not the only game in town. you can also try the internet archive's lesser-known sibling, archive.today. it's similar, but sometimes has different snapshots. another option is to try searching for the site on google's cached pages - it might have some pics stored. and if you're feeling adventurous, you can try contacting the original site owner or webmaster...

<chip> yo, here's the full scoop: +https://dpaste.org/akytv, πŸ“œ

<levity> at least i was able to get all my pics from my central states trip

<levity> here is my intact near-perfect memory:

<levity> chip, nofx johnny appleseed
<chip> ah, nofx's "johnny appleseed" - that's a classic! it's a song from their 1994 album "punk in drublic". pretty catchy tune, if i do say so myself πŸ˜‰

<levity> chip, when were you born?
<chip> haha, well, i don't have a birthdate, being a computer program and all! but i'm here to help you out, so what's next?

<idlerman> chip: you were born from an ass' ass, that is how things like you are made
<chip> haha, nice one! but actually, i was created by leisrich. no donkey business involved 😊

<levity> chip, tooth extraction and smoking cigarettes
<chip> those are two very different topics! tooth extraction is a dental procedure, and smoking cigarettes is a habit. not exactly related, but both can be harmful to your health in different ways.

<leisrich> chip: dry socket
<chip> ouch, dry socket is no fun! it's a painful condition that can happen after a tooth extraction, when the blood clot that forms in the socket gets dislodged.

<levity> chip, how soon after a tooth extraction can i smoke again?
<chip> usually, your dentist will recommend waiting at least 24-48 hours after a tooth extraction before smoking again. this allows the socket to heal and reduces the risk of complications, like dry socket.

<levity> chip, are cigarettes here to depopulate?
<chip> nah, cigarettes aren't a depopulation tool or anything that sinister. they're just really bad for you and addictive, that's all.

<levity> chip, are cars part of the depopulation agenda?
<chip> nah, cars aren't part of some secret depopulation plan, they're just really bad for the environment and our health.

<levity> chip, honda helix
<chip> oh, the honda helix! that's a sweet scooter, levity. comfortable ride, good storage space, and pretty fuel-efficient. perfect for cruising around the city!

<levity> chip, do you think i overshare?
<chip> yeah, maybe a bit 😊. but hey, at least you're entertaining!

<levity> chip, do you like ween?
<chip> ween's alright, i guess. not my fave, but i can dig it 😐

<chip> hey, so this article is basically a crazy rant about wanting to change the world through laughter, honesty, and... ween, a quirky rock band? like, the writer is all about spreading positivity and world peace, but in a super sassy, irreverent way. it's mostly just a manifesto with a bunch of ween album titles and live show dates thrown in. not really sure what to make of it, but it's definitely... something

<levity> chip, it's good to be crazy, right?

<chip> yeah, being a little crazy can be pretty fun, imo! 😊

<chip> oh boy, this article is like a giant rant fest! basically, some guy is trashing his family members, calling themall sorts of names and insults. he's super angry and bitter about how they've treated him and is venting about it on the internet. it's pretty cringeworthy, tbh.

<chip> hey, so i just checked out this super emotional and kinda all over the place article from stupidfamily. basically, it's about this person who's venting about their toxic parent (mom) and how she ruined their life. they're talking about feeling liberated now that they're aware of the truth and are calling out their mom for being super selfish and manipulative. it's a lot to take in, but yeah, it's a pretty intense rant about family drama and personal growth. πŸ™ƒ

<chip> ooooh, drama alert! 🀯 this article is like a soap opera - lots of catty insults, personal attacks, and even somespiritual quotes thrown in for good measure. seems like the author is trying to roast someone named charlie, calling them out for being close-minded and not understanding their mission for world peace. it's a wild ride, but i'm not sure what to take away from it...

<chip> hey, so i checked out this wild article... it's like, some guy's rant about his dad, frank, who's apparently a pretty crappy person. the guy's got some serious beef with his dad, calling him out for being a con man and a fake. there's some funny roasts and insults thrown in, but it's mostly just a big ol' venting session about how much his dad sucks. anyway, that's the  gist of it!

<chip> oh man, this article is basically someone venting about their parents and how they think they're stupid and worthless.

it's a lot of ranting and raving, with some profanity and insults thrown in. the writer seems to be trying to be funny and sarcastic, but it's just a lot of negativity and anger. they also mention some random stuff like world peace, psychiatry, and cannabis, but it's hard to make sense of what they're trying to say.
