Ok, let's see. It seems like I accidentally rewound back to the beginning and recorded over some stuff. I detest when I do that. I feel like I'm losing history. Let me continue now.

Earlier I went to Katt's and Joey scored me a dimebag. It was raining and I felt like walking in the rain with that badass raincoat my sister gave me. Remember how I had said next walk I go on I'll be taking the power line trail off of Wickersham(7-7-07-12:57pm)? Well, that's exactly what I did today. My destination was Devil's Den, over by Ingram Mall. I thought if I was up for it when I got there, that I would walk all the way downtown. I walked Wickersham to the power lines and turned right. I walked past Braun Station Elementary and went to the tennis courts across the street to check for tennis balls. I scanned the perimeter and found none. It's always worth to check the trash cans inside the courts. I noticed the the door wasn't shut all the way. I went inside the courts and the door shut and locked behind me! Shit, trapped. I just quickly pulled out my Leatherman and was able to push the deadbolt in again and free myself. I'm so glad I was given this Leatherman in Arcata(5-23-07-7:11am). Okay, I'll let the recording take it from here:

I'm not going to check the other side of the courts. I don't want to get locked in there.

12:40pm  Damn, I'm walking the power line trail and there's a fence in my way over where they built a new neighborhood. Hmm, how am I going to get over this? I could just walk to the creek until I get wherever I end up. Maybe that's what I'll do. I'm going to turn right in the creek.

12:42pm  I just hopped that fence. I didn't turn at the creek. I saw a little trail that went off to the left, to the fence. I didn't go in somebody's backyard. Where the power line runs there are no houses underneath it. I'm going to keep walking the power line trail. Awesome. I'm wearing my Fuck Bush shirt today, hehehe.

12:48pm  Crazy, I just ended up at this big rocky hill where I used to mountain bike before they built the neighborhood. I am standing right where I crashed my mountain bike real bad one time. I flew over the handlebars and bounced my head like four times on the rock. Good thing I was wearing a helmet, or I might have another head injury under my belt, or might not be here at all. It was crazy, all these memories just flooded back to me.

These used to be the best trails in San Antonio before humans invaded. They got paved over. No respect, no respect.

12:57pm  I just crossed over Mainland. There's a couple cops here. There was just a small accident. I just hopped over Mainland on the power line trail. I'm walking by the Northside ISD Child Nutrition Department.

1:03pm  Coming up on Heath Circle. I walked down here the other night a week ago(7-7-07). Low Bid Lane is down there.

1:08pm  I came to this little canopy here in the woods, in the shade. I can't sit anywhere because it's all muddy. I'm going to stand here and smoke a cigarette. I'll eat a banana.

     1:16pm  Leaving from my lunch/smokebreak.

                   Now I'm walking through the construction yard. Just like old times(1-9-05-10:43am, 1-15-05-11:53am, 1-17-05-7:26am, 1-22-05-8:07am, 1-24-05-7:15am, 2-28-05-9:59am, 3-18-05-9:45am, 5-12-05-3:41pm).

1:22pm  Just leaving the North America Precast Company. 6949 Low Bid Lane. Bob used to work here. I just walked right through it. All the Mexicans saw me and I gave them the peace sign. I said, "¿Hola, come estan?"

1:27pm  Coming up on Buck Heath's property.

6740 Low Bid Lane. I remember this hike.

     1:34pm  Cool, I saw a deer.

1:35pm  Going through the hole in the fence.

1:53pm  I just got to the part where I came down to the ditch level. It was all overgrown so I had to chop through it with my walking stick. Because I hate to double back. Umm, now I can guarantee I'll have chiggers tonight. I was considering going back home and putting some alcohol on my legs, but I'm going to risk it. I'm going to go to at least Devil's Den. Maybe downtown. I'll see how I feel. I'm going to get hooked up with something at Elizabeth's. Just watch. Just like a couple years ago.

1:57pm  I am taking a little smokebreak in this massive natural ditch. I wish I had a camera. Oh yeah, I am waiting for my mom to come back from Puerto Rico. She's giving me her digital camera.

2:11pm  I am almost coming up on Grissom. I wonder if Jesus(1-9-05) still works at Elizabeth's. I should have checked my logs before I walked over here this morning.

2:21pm  Finally made it up to Grissom. I had to climb this weedy ditch. Man, I'm going to have all these bugs on my legs. Let's see if I get hooked up at Elizabeth's again.

2:24pm  Elizabeth's seems to be closed, that sucks. Hmm, there's Delicious Tamales To-Go right there. I think I tried them a while back and they told me no(1-17-05-8:07am). I'm going to go see if they'll tell me no again, hehe.

2:34pm  Actually, I had twenty five cents so I bought a cookie at Mario's Bakery. I'm going to keep going down the ditch now.

2:52pm  I just ended up on Culebra. I'm not going to keep going on to Ingram. I think I am in Devil's Den already.

4:06pm  I forgot to tell you, I stopped at the Church's Chicken over here on Grissom. I'm going to see if they'll hook me up with a sandwich for my walk home.

4:08pm  Michelle at the Church's on Grissom is hooking me up with some food. I appreciate it, Michelle. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

4:32pm  I just took a shit at the HEB.

4:48pm  I walked Tezel a little bit. I'm going to sit down and rest. Right across the street from the Northwestern Presbyterian Church.

I'm up from my rest walking now. I'm not that far. Maybe like two or three miles. I'm still waving at cars passing me. I've never stopped doing that. Every single car gets the peace sign. They're loving my Fuck Bush shirt again.

5:04pm  Passing Billy Bob's Beds on Silent Oak. I only got a chicken breast at the Church's.

5:34pm  The eagle has landed. I got to my mom's house. Man, I walked a hell of a lot today. About five and a half hours. I left around twelve. Good walk. Non-stop basically.

Next day..
